Lunar Transits for January 14-16 2019
Our Moon transits into Taurus and the 1st House of the self, our personality, potential, and how we are viewed by others at 10:32 AM PST on 14 January 2019, remaining there until Void of Course begins at 10:33 AM PST on the 16th. Routine is favored during this lunar period over beginning new projects. Pay attention to any health issues that come up as well as your emotions. The chart is below:
Aspects
Aspects involving outer planets are strong today. The Moon sesquisquare Jupiter (also called sesquiquadrate) indicates that we may feel inclined to express ourselves in a grandiose or pushy manner which isn’t going to go over well with others. In conjunct with Uranus, flexibility and openness are recommended. In semisquare with Neptune, it might be best to focus on mundane issues if we’re feeling stressed or experiencing uncomfortable emotions. The Moon trine the Midheaven brings our emotions into focus, and logic may elude us at this time. Again, flexibility and a focus on routine may be of some help.

- Modes – Cardinal energies continue to be strong today, however, routine is favored over initiating new projects.
- Elements – Earth dominates reinforcing grounding and physical concerns

Magickal Workings
It’s Magick Monday! This covers Tuesday as well, but if working magick today, workings can focus on trancework, balance, purification, and feminine concerns leaving Tuesday’s magickal workings to focus on issues requiring a more assertive stance. Azoryaya, the 3rd Mansion of the Moon is also active today which positively influences sailors, hunters, and alchemists (witches) and will be useful if magick is needed.
Whenever I think Taurus, I think about cleaning my house. It’s probably because my mother was a Taurus and a clean house was a requirement which included a daughter’s bedroom. Taurus the bull versus the messy witchling daughter. Let’s just say, it wasn’t pretty. But she demanded balance and I had trouble coming to that balance, so the drama ensued. My mother passed through the veil back in 1996 and since that time, I never know when to set my clocks back or forward. So today and tomorrow I’ll be decluttering and taking care of the more mundane aspects of my life and thinking more than a little about Mom.
