• Mode ~ Initiating (Cardinal), stable (Fixed), and shifting or unstable (Mutable) energies are essentially in balance today, with a slight emphasis on Mutable. Flexibility is key.
• Element ~ All elements are making their presence known during this lunar period with Earth (practical matters) and Fire (will) energies dominating. Avoid rigidity.
• Ray ~ The 4th Ray of Harmony through Conflict and the 6th Ray of Devotion and Idealism provide the impetus for humanitarian efforts during this time. A Yod suggesting this between Pallas, Vesta, and Mars appears in the chart reinforcing a desire to help others.

Aspects

Although the Sagittarius influence is typically easy-going, with a square with Venus and an opposition with Mars, we may have difficulty expressing our feelings or concerns without an argument breaking out, not surprising given Mercury’s continued retrograde. Several trine aspects bring opportunities for healing of self and others with the sensitive and compassionate influence of both Vesta and Chiron in play. Also mentioned in the Ray section above, a Yod between Pallas, Vesta, and Mars suggest a humanitarian focus as well. The challenge there will likely center on interactions with others, particularly if feelings are involved. Stay loving and respectful should tensions increase.

Magickal Workings

Monday magicks favor the Moon’s influence and workings involving balance, new beginnings, change, cycles, and feminine concerns. Nahaym, the 20th Mansion of the Moon is active on Monday and calms stressful moods so it may be useful in workings involving change and balance. On Tuesday, Mars is influencing and Elbeda has a positive effect upon gain of all kinds, harvest, and travel. However, it can foster divorce so offset Elbeda’s effect if performing a working to create harmony. Mars is passionate and catalytic and if too much, its planetary seal can be utilized to suppress its effect.

Because Sagittarians aren’t necessarily known for their tact, interactions can be difficult, particularly if on the receiving end of their controlling nature. Mercury’s continued retrograde doesn’t help but at least its effects last only a few more days. Until then, understand the difference between leadership and authoritarian control and avoid conflict with others. Again, taking some time to get away and explore may be the best option.
