The Moon travels into Earthy Capricorn and the 9th House of idealism, knowledge, and dreams and at 7:08 AM PDT remaining there until Void of Course begins at 5:04 PM PDT on the 29th. Capricorn prefers a structured experience, and with the 9th House influencing, for the next few days focus on that which elevates your knowledge and awareness. The chart is below:

A weak square with the Sun may leave us balancing will with emotions; however, a sextile with Venus may overshadow those feelings providing us with the space for cultivating relationships. A conjunct with the Midheaven places a focus on our life’s purpose and we may be reconsidering employment options or perhaps a new educational direction. A square with Vesta adds the requirement of emotional balance to any new opportunity. Sensitivities are strong with the Moon in square with Chiron but a trine with Uranus will assist us in remaining flexible should difficult emotions arise.

Magickal Workings

Mercury goes direct on the 28th, so feel free to work magicks involving positive communication without having to account for any retrograde influences. But wait until Thursday making use of Jupiter’s expansive influence and save a Wednesday working for next week unless the witch is willing to take additional care to avoid an unreliable outcome. If working magick on Thursday, a focus on new endeavors can utilize the Moon’s conjunct with the Midheaven in concert with a square with Vesta to push us in a direction of opportunities that involve emotional balance.

My Capricorn daughter-in-law (the other is a Libran) resonates here. Both women have earned advanced degrees, but this particular woman has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience. And in her case, it’s easy to see how discipline and structure have guided her education and now her career. The same is true for my other daughter-in-law with her MS in Behavioral Analysis. While one works in a lab, the other works with autistic children. Both have discovered and pursued careers that have provided not only intellectual fulfillment but emotional fulfillment as well and I think that may be the essence of today’s interpretation. All too often we pursue opportunities that please others instead of ourselves. We attend college and work toward degrees that when all is said and done may not feed our soul. Perhaps the challenge over the next few days is to check in with our own choices to see if they actually fulfill our dreams. If not, the time may be right for some reevaluation.
