Human Design Transits for 28 April through 4 May 2019

After last week’s first installment of Human Design transits, I’ve finally decided on a general layout. I’ll be looking at the Sun, Earth, and the Moon against the foundational influences of the North and South Nodes and the Transit Crosses. Additionally, I’ll include any channels that might be active. Below is a table with the weekly Gate/Line numbers for reference.

Node Influences

In esoteric astrology, the North Node of the Moon symbolizes the future and our soul’s advancement, while the South Node symbolizes the past and any karmic influences that may be present in our lives. Similar to the Sun and Earth, the Nodes share degrees, etc. along with appearing opposite to each other. The North Node begins at 20° Cancer 43′ on 4/28 and ends at 19° Cancer 57′ while the South Node does the same only in Capricorn.

Looking at the South Node first, it appears at Gate 54 The Marrying Maiden Line 6 Selectivity indicating a desire to maintain associations that foster success. The North Node appears at Gate 53 Development Line 6 Phasing that builds on prior successful outcomes for future success and development.

Putting it all together…

I think it’s fairly clear that the theme for next week is leadership or management skills. And whether the reader is in management or not, skills such as listening and valuing the input of others can apply to anyone’s life. But then on 5/4, we move into a different experience, one that suggests the awareness when something is futile to pursue. Now, if still in management mode, that realization can be tough and costly, but it can also prevent any further problems from forming. The influence of the North Node should be helpful here.

I like that Human Design considers the Earth’s influence whereas astrology doesn’t always do that. The interpretations involve both grounding and risk, actions that are quintessentially human. The Transit Crosses describe an individual who relies on intuition and Spirit to inform his/her life’s direction, something that is also present in those individuals with strong management skills. How we express authority matters. Empathy, compassion, and strong listening skills are essential.
