Aquarius Moon ~ 23-25 May 2019

Our lovely Moon travels into humanitarian Aquarius and the 6th House of health and employment at 10:50 AM PDT on 23 May 2019. Intellect is favored over emotion over the next lunar period and we may experience some concerns over our health as well. With Element Fire dominating the Elemental energies, we’ll feel motivated to get to the bottom of whatever health-related concern (intellectual, emotional, physical) we might be experiencing. • Mode/Quality – Cardinal (initiating/active) energies have begun to wane a bit with more stable Fixed energies making an appearance. Mutable (unstable) energies dominate, however, and emotions may be in flux for the next few days.
• Element – Fire and Air dominate suggesting will and intellect may be either at odds or in sync. Water’s lesser influence aligns with the aforementioned Mutable or unstable energies.
• Ray – The 5th Ray of Concrete Knowledge stands out suggesting an intellectual expression of the 2nd Ray of Love/Wisdom with the ultimate focus the understanding of our own expression as Source/Creator.
• Sign – Airy Gemini provides the strongest influence.

Aspects

The primary influence seems to be a square with the Midheaven (Orb 0°33′ applying) suggesting a need to feel emotionally secure or satisfied with our career choice and a need to chart our own course. Otherwise, we may not feel as if our achievements are really our own. A trine with the Sun (Orb 2°18 applying) indicates a sometimes too flexible nature suggesting that we may not assert ourselves when necessary. But this tendency may be reinforced by the square with the Midheaven suggesting a connection between self-assertion and emotional security. Honor your feelings and allow your intuition to guide your path.

Magickal Workings

Jupiter is influencing on Thursday, but given it’s also in retrograde, the time may be right for some inner work. Go within and focus on any areas requiring transcendence. However if a witch wishes to influence the inner work of others, particularly in a position of authority, Caadacohot, the 24th Mansion of the Moon, may be of some assistance.

Friday’s magickal workings can take a focus on relationships but it would be advisable to take into account Caadalhacbia’s influence as it tends toward relationship destruction. The seal of Venus may be of assistance to tamp down the 25th Mansion’s effect.

Any health issues we may experience over the next few days appear to center on spiritual or inner alignment. It may be best to spend some time in meditation to align mind and body with Spirit, particularly if career issues arise. In other words, we want to present our best self to others.
