Aries Moon ~ 24-27 June 2019

The Moon travels into independent Aries and the 3rd House of brothers and sisters, integrity, and communication at 7:38 PM PDT on 24 June 2019 until she enters Taurus at 6:32 AM PDT on the 27th. Interactions with others are favored during this next lunar period and we feel inclined to get together with others to catch up on all that’s been happening. For a change of scene, we also might want to take a short trip to visit with friends or family. Either way, the Aries influence suggests someone who is both independent and innovative so if a networking opportunity arises, take it. You never know where that might lead! The chart is below:

• Mode/Quality – Cardinal is out in front with its own expression of Aries energy supporting the ability to overcome challenges and obstacles. With Fixed energies almost absent, we may lose focus. Together, this might create some erratic tendencies over the next few days.
• Element – Elemental energies are roughly in balance with will and emotions the strongest influences.
• Ray – 3rd (Active Intelligence) and 7th (Ceremonial Order and Magick) Rays provide the strongest influence creating the space for strategy and organized clarity-driven thinking.

Relationships and interactions with female friends, family, and associates are again in focus and with the Moon’s trine with Mercury, the conversation should be a lively one! Additional trines with Juno and Ceres reinforce gathering together with female friends, perhaps in a ritual format. And a final trine with Mars fosters self-assertion and self-confidence to overcome any issues the square with the Sun may bring.

Looking at the Human Design Gate information, guas from the I Ching are used to inform each planetary interaction. When we see the expression, Gate 25 Line 2, the Gate/Line influence for 24 June, where that comes from is the name of each gua (hexagram) followed by the particular line (1-6) on the gua. So, while there are 64 Gates assigned to the sixty-four guas, you’ll always see a Line number ranging from 1 through 6. And this Gate/Line describes an ability to focus upon the present moment and not become distracted. Gate 21 Line 3 on 25 June counsels a positive attitude and to flow around obstacles, and Gate 42 LIne 4 on the 26th promises that resources are available if needed.

The I Ching is a powerful divination tool and its marriage with planetary influences in the Human Design system creates an interesting and valuable perspective, offering more depth than astrology alone. All three days illustrate the independence of Aries along with Gate 42 on the 26th describing the resources, in this case, friends, etc. that are available to us.

Magickal Workings

Since the Moon moves after 7 PM, unless something arises, or a witch has planned for it, the evening may already be spoken for. But if not, Monday magicks can take an inward focus with meditation or hedgeriding. The Moon enters her 3rd Quarter phase on the 25th and magicks to move around obstacles may be worked utilizing Tuesday’s catalytic Mars influence, also corresponding with Aries.

Wednesday magicks can take a communication focus, utilizing Mercury’s influence to either improve or tamp down interactions. Given the Aries influence, if interactions become difficult, a witch may consider a small binding spell to contain any impulse control issues that arise.

Be aware that while Alnath (1st Mansion of the Moon) is active so is increased conflict, but that should give way to Albochan on Tuesday which may provide assistance with any binding workings. Alchemical efforts (cauldron work) may be assisted on Wednesday when Azoraya appears, particularly if herb magicks are employed.

Final Thoughts

It’s not always easy for women to have a tribe, so if you have one, consider yourself blessed. Take some time and reach out to your tribe and find your sustenance there. Recharge, rebalance, and renew your soul. If obstacles arise, easily move around them as you value your own alignment more than being right.
