Monday Correspondences

If you read my most recent post for my new Weekly Rune and Moon series, you know that I’m reworking my Moon posts and shifting some of the information over to the new series. What remains from the initial series are correspondences useful in magickal workings which I had intended to write about all along. Somehow, it turned into something more and although I enjoyed writing the posts, I finally decided that the information would be better explored in two separate series.

The correspondences will use the same list-style format I used in the Moon posts without too many conclusions drawn or recommendations made. That said, I’m a witch, therefore given to opinions, so it really is what it is on that front. The idea is that a witch or anyone given to working magick can peruse the list and make some intelligent choices regarding the working. Some correspondences will be general to each day and others will be taken from the current day’s astrological information. The current day’s astrological and elemental influences will appear first.

• Lunar position ~ Moon in Capricorn (structure, emotional distance) and the 5th House (creative pursuits, pleasure)
• Sign ~ Leo (self-confidence, leadership, arrogant); Capricorn (structure, practical, disciplined, rigid
• Elemental Influence ~ Fire strong (manifesting, risk-taking), Water weak (imbalanced emotions).
• Mode ~ Fixed (stable, rigid)
• Houses ~ 5th (pleasure, creativity, children); 12th (endings, hidden fears, enemies, karma, service to others)
• Rays ~ 1st (will/power, purpose, leadership), 5th (concrete knowledge, expertise, original thinking)
• Lunar Phase ~ Gibbous, waxing; Full on 15 Aug 2019 at 22°Aquar24′, dark phase, Crone magicks. The Maiden phase begins on the 14th.
• Mansion of the Moon ~ 23rd – Caadebolach – 12°Cap42′ – star of fortune; increases compassion between married people, military victory, obstructs government.
• Retrograde ~ Pluto (dealing with karmic debt), Saturn (revisit old issues, inward discipline), Neptune (a focus on the spiritual versus the mundane, remain in observer/Higher Self mode), Chiron (issues of healing), and Uranus (realignment of esoteric beliefs).
• Magickal focus ~ feminine magicks, healing, intuition, cycles, reincarnation, astral travel, balance, change
• Time ~ Dawn – healing, new beginnings, study, purification; Noon – strength, opportunity, success, protection, wealth; Sunset – letting go, release; Night – spirituality, aligning with Spirit, healing, dreamwork, visions
• Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ neutral
• Goddess ~ Diana, Luna, Selene, Artemis
• Element ~ Water
• Color ~ Silver, white
• Zodiac ~ Cancer (Scorpio, Pisces)

• Power ~ To Dare

• Stone ~ pearl, moonstone, selenite, marcasite
• Herb ~ hyssop, rosemary, olive, mugwort, moonwort, palm
