Weekly Rune & Moon ~ 18-24 August 2019

It’s time again to look at the rune and Moon influences for the coming week. As always, the spread is read from left to right.

Sunday ~ 18 August

Rune: Berkano (18); Numerology: 9; Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 22 Line 6 Maturity; Astro Moon: Aries Moon at 9:33 AM PDT

Sunday brings a feeling of completion as if some process has ended or a long-awaited goal has been reached. Berkano, as the 18th rune of the Elder Futhark, brings Goddess blessings aligning with the sense of completion described by today’s nine numerology.

Berkano also aligns with the maturity fostered by the Moon transiting at Gate 22 Line 6 of the Human Design bodygram. Reconciliation and new beginnings are possible as we transition from one phase to the next in our relationships with others, perhaps with a focus on family. An Aries Moon provides the courage and impetus necessary to move forward.

Monday ~ 19 August

Rune: Uruz (2); Numerology: 1; Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 25 Line 6 Ignorance; Astro Moon: Aries Moon

New beginnings are possible today with the energy of the Aries Moon, a one numerology, and the rune Uruz blending their energetic influences. Aries provides the energy to initiate while Uruz represents the underlying or primal forming energy behind that initiation.

That said, a less responsible influence also exists today with the Human Design/I Ching message of ignorance suggesting a lack of self-awareness may negatively impact our efforts. Should that happen, take every opportunity to learn from that experience allowing it to assist you on your new path.

Tuesday ~ 20 August

Rune: Isa (11); Numerology: 2; Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 51 Line 1 Reference; Astro Moon: Aries until 9:36 PM PDT, Taurus at 9:37 PM PDT

Isa asks us to seek the stillness within today to achieve the self-awareness that may have been lacking yesterday. A two numerology suggests balanced energy and meditation is a wonderful way to achieve such. A measured approach is favored with the Taurus influence reinforced by the ability to use past experience as a reference or guide.

One last synchronicity for Tuesday can be found in the numerology of both Isa and the day itself. Although we don’t typically reduce 11 to 2 because of its Master Number status, we can certainly do so and discover the synchronicity between the underlying numerology of both the rune and the day’s numerology, strengthening its influence of balance and self-awareness.

Wednesday ~ 21 August

Rune: Ehwaz (19); Numerology: 3; Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 3 Line 2 Immaturity; Astro Moon: Taurus Moon

Harmonious relationships are in focus today with the influence of Ehwaz, however, caution should be taken given the unexpected influence of immaturity suggesting a lack of impulse control may affect interactions. A more reflective focus or attitude may be required.

The numerology of three describes the energy of manifestation as well as doing so in mind, body, Spirit alignment. If feelings of impulsivity or self-interest arise, embrace the Taurus within, observe them and let them pass.

Thursday ~ 22 August

Rune: Inguz/Ingwaz; Numerology: 22; Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 24 Line 3 The Addict; Astro Moon: Taurus

The Master Number 22, also known as the Cosmic Builder, governs this energetically expansive day of the god, Thor, and the gas giant planet Jupiter. The Addict suggests the path may not be easy, but the creative impetus is there, and with the disciplined approach of Taurus, we can manifest anything we choose.

Inguz, the seed, aligns well today as the twenty-second rune of the Elder Futhark, providing our new creation the energy to expand and grow.

Friday ~ 23 August

Rune: Eihwaz (13); Numerology: 5; Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 23 Line 4 Fragmentation; Astro Moon: Taurus until 7:33 AM PDT moving into Gemini at 7:34 AM PDT

We explore the connection between opposites on Friday, a day of Eihwaz and change. We manifest today as Spirit, our true reality, as we seek protection from egoic fragmentation which no longer serves any realistic or sustainable purpose.

Although the scattered influence of Gemini may be the challenge here, the practical nature of Taurus should provide the necessary framework for change as we realize that a disciplined approach is favored over one that is scattered.

Saturday ~ 24 August

Rune: Gebo (7); Numerology (6); Human Design/I Ching Moon: Gate 20 Line 6 Wisdom; Astro Moon: Gemini

Balanced energy exchange is favored today with Gebo, the seventh rune of the Elder Futhark, aligning well with the shared purpose described by the day’s overall six energy. Higher Self continues to inform today’s experiences and with Gemini continuing its influence on the Moon, both internal and external balance is favored.

Whereas Eihwaz on Friday dealt with the vertical plane, the as above so below nature of existence, today’s alignment from Gebo is focused on balancing the polarity of the horizontal plane, or the masculine/feminine within. With Higher Self vision, the wisdom gained is shared with and welcomed by others.

Lastly…

A sense of balanced energy exchange exists at both the beginning and end of the week, so whatever impulse control issues we might have during the rest of the week appear not to have much impact. Of course, that’s likely a product of choice rather than coincidence, so an effort should be made over the week to maintain the harmony that began the week.
